This 2-hour course is one in a series of online training courses designed to help early childhood educators and directors understand how to create an early learning program that meets the needs of preschool and school-age children with and without disabilities.

This 2-hour course is one in a series of online training courses designed to help early childhood educators and directors understand how to create an early learning program that meets the needs of infants and toddlers with and without disabilities.

During the course, participants will learn about:

  • What it means to provide early childhood education for children with and without disabilities;
  • Key features of early learning for infants and toddlers with disabilities;
  • Benefits of creating an early learning environment for all infants and toddlers;
  • Laws and regulations related to care and education for infants and toddlers with disabilities; and
  • Steps you can take to make your program more available for all children.

This training course was developed and produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Health and Human Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided by the Texas Workforce Commission.
