Course Information
This 2-hour course is the first in a series of online trainings designed to help child care providers and directors gain a better understanding of how to create an inclusive child care environment for preschool and school-age children with special needs.
During this online course, you will be presented with an in-depth look at inclusive care, why it should be a goal of every program, what you actually do in inclusive care, and what a typical day looks like in such a program.
This course was developed and produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided by the Texas Workforce Commission.
