According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, vaccines, or immunizations, are the most important public health intervention in history because they have saved millions from death and have prevented hundreds of millions from once crippling and deadly diseases.
This 1-hour online course is designed to help child care providers gain a better understanding of childhood vaccinations, including the benefits, requirements, and the diseases they prevent.
Funding for this course was provided by the Office of Title V and Family Health, Texas Department of State Health Services using Title V Maternal and Child Block Grant Funds.
