This 2-hour course is designed for Child Care Health Consultants (CCHCs) to gain knowledge on how to provide training and support to educators and families for typical and atypical child development.

THIS COURSE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO PARTICIPANTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE IN-PERSON PORTION OF THE CHILD CARE HEALTH CONSULTANT TRAINING PROGRAM. CCHC's play a significant role in increasing developmental screening in early childhood programs. This 2-hour course is designed for Child Care Health Consultants (CCHCs) to gain knowledge on how to provide training and support to educators and families for typical and atypical child development. Know when a child is at risk of a developmental delay or disability leads to developmental screening. Based on the results, a child may be referred for further evaluation. Research and studies show children with developmental delays and disabilities have more positive outcomes when they receive timely early intervention services.
