Overview
The State of Texas has made water and natural resource conservation a priority. The Trinity River is a common tie among native grasslands and bottomland hardwood forests; these ecosystems have been reduced significantly since the state was settled. This publication provides maps of existing native grasslands and bottomland hardwood forests. The maps will provide a tool for conservation partners to use in the coordination of restoration efforts in the Trinity River Basin. (16 Pages)
