This curriculum is designed to teach high school students key science and math principles pertaining to natural resources management. It uses a Texas fish species, largemouth bass, and real-world scenarios that occur across the state. The lessons involve all phases of managing natural resources: data collection, analysis and interpretation. In addition to the classroom work, optional field exercises are included to encourage the students to put their classroom experiences into action. The lessons can be conducted in the classroom and reinforced with field activities where appropriate. This TEKS-aligned curriculum includes, a CD and a PowerPoint presentation.
