Overview

BGBG will increase the number of farmers & ranchers and enhance their enterprise sustainability through an innovative, holistic model for education, training, technical assistance, and outreach. Phase 3 of BGBG has been created to provide an individualized online course curriculum to meet various production needs. Phase 3 focuses on helping participants gain the skills needed to effectively manage current & future agriculture operations. This course will educate participants in production agriculture topics based on their chosen agriculture enterprise(s). Courses include livestock production, vegetable production, wildlife management, rangeland ecology, greenhouse production, and more. In addition, in Phase 3 you will be required to participate in Hands-On Learning (HOL) hours mentorships, field days, and hands-on learning events. *NOTE* Tuition for Phase 2 & Phase 3 of the Battleground Program is $1,500 (Phase 2 is $600 and Phase 3 is $900). Each tuition payment is due at the time of registration.
