Knowing the risks associated with poisoning, taking steps to minimize them, and having a plan for how to respond in the event of a poison emergency are critical to upholding the commitment to providing a safe environment for all children.

During this 2-hour online course, you will be provided with a working knowledge of poison risks and procedures for preventing and responding to poison emergencies in child care settings.

This course was developed and produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided by the Texas Workforce Commission.
