Course Information
This online course shows cotton growers and pesticide applicators the signs of infestation of common insect pests like:
- thrips,
- cotton aphids,
- fleahoppers,
- lygus bugs,
- stink bugs,
- cotton bollworms,
- tobacco worms,
- spider mites, and
- cutworms.
The presentations discuss helpful insects and cotton crop diseases.
At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Collect field samples to discover pests;
- Describe basic cotton growth and development;
- Identify and treat common pests; and
- Protect helpful insects and spot diseases.
