Course Information
In this course, Early Childhood Educators (ECE) will learn strategies to promote the growth, development and social emotional learning (SEL) of pre-schoolers. Specifically, ECEs will learn how to teach children to recognize emotions and validate their feelings.
Additionally, learners will be provided with ways to teach children to self-regulate emotions, bolster their learning and encourage friendship-building among members of the classroom. Finally, ECEs will be provided with strategies to build resilience in young children.
