WINE SCIENCE TRACK COURSES:

  • Wine Chemistry (Enol 102) - available Summer 2025
  • Wine Making (Enol 103) - available Fall 2025
  • Sensory Evaluation and Wine Faults: Causes, Prevention, and Treatments (Enol 104) - available Spring 2026
  • Winery Lab Procedures, Equipment Hands-On (Enol 105) - available Spring 2026
  • Elective for Wine Science: Winery Planning and Design - available Spring 2026

For the wine science track, you must complete at least two (2) of the following hands-on experiences in a commercial winery setting. A letter from the winery certifying completion is required:

  • Crush
  • Cellar Operation
  • Lab Analysis
  • Wine Sensory Evaluation

VITICULTURE TRACK COURSES:

  • Getting Started: Vineyards from the Ground Up (Vit 102) - available Summer 2025
  • Installing and Managing the Vineyard Through the Fourth Leaf (Vit 103) - available Fall 2025
  • The Mature Vineyard (Vit 104) - available Spring 2026
  • Viticulture Hands-on Component (Vit 105) - available Spring 2026

For the viticulture track, you must complete at least three (3) of the following hands-on workshops as part of Vit 105:

  • Pruning
  • IPM
  • Harvest
  • Canopy Management
  • Irrigation
