The Norman Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture and Development develops, coordinates, and leads international agricultural development programs for the Texas A&M University System as part of Texas A&M AgriLife. Named in honor of Norman Borlaug, the 1970 Nobel Prize winner “Father of the Green Revolution” and faculty member at Texas A&M University for a quarter of a century, the Borlaug Institute strives to further Dr. Borlaug’s legacy of improving global food security, livelihoods, and resilience through applied agricultural research and extension.
