Sheep

We offer a wide variety of educational resources to support the Texas sheep industry, the largest of any state. Online courses, videos, apps and in-person instructional programs, which range from shearing workshops to the annual Sheep and Goat Expo, are available to all hair and wool sheep producers.

Program

The Texas 4-H Agriculture & Livestock Program provides a variety of unbiased resources for 4-H/FFA families, leaders and volunteers interested in youth livestock projects and agricultural advocacy.

Sheep & Goat Expo

This unique sheep and goat event provides producers and other interested persons the opportunity to attend educational presentations.  The speakers are experts in the industry. This program meets the needs of a very diverse sheep and goat industry.

    The Texas AgriLife Fecal Egg Counting, FEC, lab performs accurate roundworm egg counts, including Haemonchus Cortortus, for sheep and goat producers.
