Host: Ash
Disease: Cylindrosporium Leaf Spot
Pathogen: Cylindrosporium
Symptoms: Cylindrosporium will cause individual, well defined, brown leaf spots. Infection by this fungal pathogen is usually favored by wet weather or other conditions that would result in extended periods of wet foliage. Under extended rainfall conditions (as we experienced this spring and early summer), the individual necrotic lesions can merge resulting in generalized leaf necrosis.
Damage: It does not do any serious harm to the tree.
Control: Promptly remove and destroy fallen infected leaves and other plant debris; chemical control is not recommended
