As temperatures continue to climb across the state and the chances of rainfall are weakening, it’s important to consider the effect this will have on any herbicide applications. Spraying weeds or brush with a foliar application when leaves are dry or stressed will usually result in poor control. Any time of year is acceptable for stem or cut stump treatments, but don’t forget to drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks while we endure the high temperatures during July and August!
