The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office for Bexar County will present “A Taste of Fiesta” from 10 a.m. to noon April 28 in San Antonio.
The program will be in suite 208 of the Conroy Square office complex. Presenters will be David Rodriguez, horticulture, and Angie Gutierrez, family and community health, both serving Bexar County.
“Attendees will learn about different types of peppers and tomatoes and engage in a hands-on activity for making their own homemade salsa,” Rodriguez said.
He said at this year’s program attendees will break off into groups to prepare and demonstrate the salsa recipe they made.
The cost is $20 per person and registration deadline is April 25. Checks or money orders will be accepted.
