Course Information
This online course covers the design of wind powered pumping systems for irrigation. Students learn how to design pump systems based upon the amount of wind available for different locations. They also learn how to design complete small-scale irrigation systems that use wind pumps to meet peak irrigation water requirements, along with required storage capacity.
This course provides 4 hours of continuing education units for Texas Landscape Architects, Professional Engineers, and others who self-report.
Note: This course is not approved for TCEQ Landscape Irrigation Program CEU's. Students will have access to the course for 1 year.
