Overview

Learn how to calculate and produce weekly, monthly, or annual irrigation water budgets for any urban landscape. This course provides 4 hours of continuing education units for Texas Landscape Architects, Professional Engineers, and others who self-report.

Course Information

Water budgets are essential for anyone managing irrigation systems in urban landscapes, such as residential lawns, sports fields, parks, commercial properties, and golf courses. In this online course, students will learn how to perform water budgeting calculations by determining water requirements, learning scheduling concepts, and proper zoning principles. This course will also introduce students to the use of GIS-based tools for water balance applications.

This online course provides 4 hours of continuing education units for Texas Landscape Architects, Professional Engineers, and others who self-report.

Note: This course is not approved for TCEQ Landscape Irrigation Program CEU's. Students will have access to the course for 1 year.
