Course Information
This online course is for anyone wanting to learn how pests in Texas and the Southern United States invade our homes. It helps the learner understand how to prevent and/or manage common household pests without the use of pesticides by using different control tactics. It will answer questions such as what are the most common pests and, more importantly, how do you prevent these pests from moving inside with you?
Even if you live in an apartment, the lessons inside this course will help you keep your home pest and pesticide free!
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Prevent and/or manage common household pests
- Recognize human behaviors that cause pest problems
- Know when to call a professional to control infestations related to public health (generally rodents) or identify structural damage such as termites
Trainings may be enrolled in once every 3 years for renewing CEU credits.
