Bed bugs began making a comeback as a common household pest in the early 2000s. Research suggests that this new version is more resistant to insecticides and requires special expertise to manage. This online course will teach you how to check for bed bugs, what they look like, how to get rid of bed bugs, and modern treatment options.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • List health impacts of bed bugs
  • Explain life stage intervals including lifespan without a host

Certification Requirements

This course offers 1 CEU of pest control credit from TDA. You must score a minimum of 70% on the post-test to earn the certificate and CEU credit.

Trainings may be enrolled in once every 3 years for renewing CEU credits.
