Overview

Avian Influenza is very easy to spread on clothing and through human contact. This publication covers the guidelines recommended for preventing the spread of this disease.

A serious outbreak of avian influenza in Mexico caused production losses in many poultry flocks. It is important to prevent outbreaks like these from spreading to the United States. This publications were developed by the Delmarva poultry industry. This publication provides the guidelines that should be followed to provide protection against introduction of avian influenza into the U.S. (2 pages)
