Course Information
All children, regardless of ability, benefit when they are actively involved in programs that encourage positive interactions with peers and caregivers.
The purpose of this 2-hour online course is to learn strategies to promote positive social interactions among all children, including those with disabilities and other special needs.
During this training, we will talk about the benefits of positive peer and caregiver interactions, looking specifically at steps you can take to teach and promote the skills children need to develop healthy relationships.
This training course was developed and produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided by the Texas Workforce Commission.
