Thanks to our generous donors, we can award scholarships to 4-H members within 4 different types of scholarships:

  • Baccalaureate
  • Courageous Heart
  • Technical

The goal of the scholarship program is to provide scholarship opportunities for 4-H members to attend a Texas college or university to pursue a broad range of academic majors. Texas 4-H Youth Development has a proud history of providing young people with opportunities in leadership, citizenship, community service, and personal growth. The Texas 4-H Foundation Opportunity Scholarship Program began in 1959 with a $1,000 scholarship. Since that time, our scholarship program has experienced tremendous growth, currently awarding 243 scholarships totaling nearly $2.9 million annually.
