Overview

This manual is a guide to collecting and processing UAS data for agriculture applications.

This manual outlines the procedures to perform direct and indirect georeferencing, compass, IMU, and vision sensors calibration of UAV platforms, planning and execution of flight missions.

Additional procedures are the processing of collected drone imagery to generate orthomosaics, digital surface models, and extraction of plant phenotypic features.

Other topics include delineating plot boundaries, attaching field layout/data with plot boundaries, exporting extracted plant features in a spreadsheet, and creating color maps for visualizing these features using GIS software.
