Texas is an extraordinarily large state that is made up of a wide variety of ecoregions and habitats, which are home to an even greater variety of insect species. As a result, pest management professionals must be familiar with the tools and tactics required for IPM of a bewildering number of insects that impact urban environments.
The Texas A&M University Urban Pest Management Conference & Workshop provides attendees the opportunity to receive the majority of their TDA-required continuing education units over the course of three days in Bryan/College Station. The first two days of the conference consist of classroom style training, with speakers from across the United States. On the final day of the conference attendees can choose from three half-day hands on workshops that will provide training focused on specific insect pests.
