Overview

This classroom set of 25 student journals is an important resource for your children's weekly Learn, Grow, Eat & GO! experience.

Using these journals, students will record observations from the garden, as well as analyze information presented in the classroom during food tastings, instructional lessons, and gardening activities. The garden journals are tools that encourage students to communicate through various writing conventions including narrative, descriptive, and expository. They also encourage writing across academic disciplines in the content areas of science, math, social studies, and health. These journals are also a great compliment to the LGEG manual, Garden Kitchen Recipes, Walk Across Texas! Starter Kit, and Newsletters to support the full LGEG experience with your youth.
