This 2-hour course is for prospective home-based child care business owners and will introduce some of the health and safety standards, best practices, and ways to properly implement these in your home-based child care.

This 2-hour course is for prospective home-based child care business owners and will introduce some of the health and safety standards, best practices, and ways to properly implement these in your home-based child care.

After completing this course, the learner will be able to:

  • Describe and follow the Minimum Standards for health and safety for the type of child care home you decide to operate, and
  • Describe and adopt best practices related to health and safety in your home-based child care setting.
