Blanc Du Soleil is a new Pierce’s Disease (PD) tolerant white wine grape cultivar that was bred by Florida A&M University in 1999.

Blanc Du Soleil is a new Pierce's Disease (PD) tolerant white wine grape cultivar that was bred by Florida A&M University in 1999. It resulted from a cross between Stover and Blanc Du Bois, two interspecific PD-tolerant hybrids that were developed in Florida. Blanc Du Soleil was cooperatively released by Florida A&M University and Texas A&M University in 2022. (2 pages)
