Overview
Growing apples in Texas is often difficult due to the warm summer nights and threat of cotton root rot. However, Texas gardeners can have great luck growing apples in their home gardens by selecting the right varieties and providing proper care. This fact sheet instructs gardeners on growing apples and provides two recipes showcasing apples.
