Course Information

This course will introduce you to best management practices for athletic field safety. After you finish this course, you will be able to:

  • identify the differences between natural and synthetic turf
  • recognize the importance of field safety
  • recognize metrics used to measure field safety
  • name and compare available field-testing instrumentation
  • discuss best management practices to ensure your field is safe and playable
