This food handler course in Spanish, accredited with the Texas Department of State Health Services, will allow food service employees, cottage food business operators, or others to meet the requirement of having a food handler or food safety course. Participants will learn basic food safety practices for the preparation of food.

Course Information

The Texas Food Handlers Certification is required for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food.

This online course in Spanish gives a basic overview of food safety principles and practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to print a Texas Food Handlers Card that is valid for 2 years. The course fee does not cover any fees associated with your local health department.
