Course Information As a child care provider, it is important to have an understanding of the developmental stages that children go through during their early years. This understanding serves as the foundation for providing the highest quality of care. During this 2-hour online course, you will learn the stages that children go through and the milestones they exhibit from birth through the school-age years. This course was developed and produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided by the Texas Workforce Commission.
