Overview

This course explains the distribution of the CARES Act Funding to state and local governments, small businesses, homeland security, healthcare providers, labor, education, and arts organizations, justice and police departments, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, agriculture and food programs, and education institutions.

Course Information

This training is intended for county judges, commissioners, municipalities and school districts. It explains the distribution of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to state and local governments, small businesses, homeland security, healthcare providers, labor, education, and arts organizations, justice and police departments, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, agriculture and food programs, and education institutions.

This course also gives an overview of the Coronavirus Relief Fund under the CARES Act and how it compares with the FEMA Public Assistance Grant Program, Emergency Protective Measures (Category B). Instructors will discuss potential options and help you decide which funding source will work best for your needs.
