Course Information
From the moment of conception, the human body depends on nutrition for growth, development, and long-term survival. Adequate nutrition during early childhood is one of the key ways to ensure healthy growth and development.
This 1-hour online course is designed to familiarize child care providers with the nutritional needs of infants and toddlers and the best strategies for meeting these needs.
This course was developed and produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
