This 2-hour online course offers an overview of self-help development in preschool and school-age children, and ways you can actively promote these skills in your inclusive child care program.
We will discuss best practices related to self-help skill development, and ideas for modifying self-care routines to meet the needs of children with disabilities in your inclusive child care classroom.
This training course was developed and produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided by the Texas Workforce Commission.
