Breastfeeding offers numerous benefits to infants, mothers, and the community. For this reason, the American Academy of Pediatrics encourages family and community support for breastfeeding.

This 1-hour online course will help child care providers gain a better understanding of the benefits of breastfeeding and how to support mothers who want to continue breastfeeding their children after returning to work or school.

Funding for this course was provided by the Office of Title V and Family Health, Texas Department of State Health Services using Title V Maternal and Child Block Grant Funds.
