This four-lesson course teaches you the basics of nutrition to help you plan and prepare balanced, diabetes-friendly meals. You'll learn how to spot carbohydrate-rich foods, manage portion sizes, and read nutrition labels to make better meal choices. The course also shows you how to add healthy fats, increase fiber, and flavor your meals with less salt.

Throughout the course, you'll try new recipes from the Dinner Tonight program, which offers quick and tasty meals. You'll also get meal planning tips using the Plate Method, making sure each plate has the right portions of protein, carbs, and non-starchy vegetables.
