The Texas 4-H Family & Community Health Program provides a variety of resources and opportunities to learn about nutrition, interior design, consumer education and more.

Balancing Food & Play (grades 3rd-5th) was developed to address children’s health issues by developing lifelong healthy behaviors through nutrition, physical activity, and family engagement.

Courses

Course

This course is designed to help people with diabetes do well and be well. Through this online course, you will walk through the basics of diabetes, how to make helpful choices, and the basics of medicine.

Course

This course is designed to educate occupational therapy practitioners on how to improve OT services provided to farmers and ranchers with a disability. Modules cover assessment, agriculture tasks, hazard safety, common conditions, ergonomics, assistive technology, modifications, and resources.

Step Up Scale Down is a 12-week wellness program based on USDA guidelines and scientific research. Each week focuses on a different topic related to nutrition, healthy eating, exercise, and more to support you in your weight loss journey.
