Anthrax is a bacteria (Bacillus anthracis) that causes disease in cattle, sheep, goats, horses, exotics, swine, dogs, and cats. Domesticated and wild herbivores such as cattle, sheep, goats, and deer have a higher risk of contracting the disease and dying. However, anthrax also affects humans.
