Overview

Teachers encourage children to participate in experiences that actively engage them in communication, creativity, and problem solving. These core skills are critical in children's cognitive development. Strategies for effective verbal interactions, encouraging problem-solving, and integrating the creative arts are explored.

Course Information

Some of the most important skills early childhood teachers strive to cultivate in young children include communication, creativity, and problem solving. By carefully planning the experiences and materials available to children, teachers encourage children to practice these critical, cognitive skills.

This online course:
