Overview
This classroom set (25 copies) of the 10 Walk Across Texas (WAT) take home newsletters highlight easy ways for the entire family to get active. As part of the full Learn, Grow, Eat, Go! curriculum, classrooms are encouraged to adopt the WAT program to increase the habit of regular physical activity. The newsletters cover topics like: Getting Active, Tackling the Heat, Family Fun Time and others. Newsletters are written in English and Spanish and are a great resource to send home to encourage family engagement.
