Course Information
Maintaining a healthy and safe environment must be a basic premise for early childhood programs. This course assumes basic familiarity with state and local regulatory standards and provides directors with the information needed to:
- create and implement a risk management plan which includes ways to prepare for emergency situations
- maintain compliance with standards
- maintain the safety of people, facilities, equipment, and materials; prevent legal issues
- create communication plans
- and handle the aftermath of a crisis.
