This 30-minute course is a part of the larger Owning Your Piece of Texas course. It focuses on helping landowners evaluate various ownership issues with property.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Review deed records to obtain information about property
- Recognize situations that can result in severances of estates
- Identify methods of determining ownership interest
- Explain the types of joint ownership and the rights and responsibilities of joint owners
- Determine when and how co-ownership may be terminated
