Volunteer Opportunities

From community beautification projects to local watershed protection, our volunteers are steadfast in their pursuit to serve Texas in meaningful and lasting ways. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities through various programs, including Texas Master Gardeners, Texas Master Naturalists, Master Wellness Volunteers as well as the Texas 4-H program.

Programs

We offer numerous free and affordable programs on agriculture and natural resources, family and community health, economic health and youth development. We also offer many volunteer opportunities. Browse the list below.
Program

In the Leadership and Citizenship project area, our young Texans gain the experience necessary to become the informed and capable leaders and citizens of tomorrow. With multiple opportunities in global education, public speaking, community service, and more, all youth can find a fit in Texas 4-H.

The Texas Master Gardener program trains and supports a network of volunteers to provide horticultural-related information within their communities.

All Resources on Volunteer Opportunities

  • Master Wellness Volunteers receive 40 hours of training related to health, nutrition, food safety, and other topics and serve a 40-hour internship in their county.

    This project focuses on clothing, home décor, sewing, the consumer aspect of purchasing clothing and home décor, and the art of designing these items.

    The Youth Entrepreneurship Project is great for someone who is motivated and wants to learn business principles.
