Health Talk Express looks to raise awareness about chronic disease reduction. These programs challenge the audience to practice a health-promoting behavior to lower disease risk.

Developed as an educational outreach initiative to promote chronic disease prevention, Health Talk Express looks to raise awareness about chronic disease reduction. These programs, generally 30-45 minutes in length, challenge the audience to practice a health-promoting behavior with the goal of lowering their disease risk. With the option to be administered at any time of the day, these programs are available at in-person sessions or via the web. Health Talk Express offers presentations covering seven health topics: cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, stress management, physical activity, medication safety, work-life balance, and stroke.
