Course Information
The purpose of this online training course is to help early childhood professionals adopt strategies to support children's development of positive oral health habits. It addresses science-based best practices that can be applied in any care and early education program.
Once you have completed this course, you should be able to:
- Describe factors that support and threaten oral health
- Use practices that support oral health and oral hygiene habits
- Design effective policies and educational opportunities
This course is aligned with the guidelines of the Texas Healthy Building Blocks recognition program. It was developed with funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
