Overview
Wine quality includes visual cues, aroma profile, taste and mouthfeel characteristics, and overall balance. Haziness, off-colors, unpleasant aromas, bitterness, and harsh tannins can all decrease wine quality. Many of these issues can be mitigated by using a technique called fining.
