Abusive head trauma, which includes head injuries from child abuse such as Shaken Baby Syndrome, is the leading cause of death in cases of child abuse in the United States.
This 2-hour online course will help you better understand the dangers of abusive head trauma and how to take steps to protect the children in your care from this type of abuse.
This course was developed and produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided by the Texas Workforce Commission.
