Course Information
Cooking Well Exploring Cultures is a four-lesson series that aims to educate participants on nutrition, food safety, and healthy cooking techniques via an interest in cultural cuisine. This program also aims to expand participants' use of ingredients and techniques to increase confidence in cooking new and diverse recipes. Cooking Well Exploring Cultures achieves those objectives and creates a curious and inquisitive atmosphere where health knowledge will be improved through the power of cultural foods.
After the course, participants will learn new cooking techniques and be able to prepare meals and utilize healthy recipes at home from diverse cultures. Cultural recipes have been adjusted to fit our recipe guidelines while maintaining their cultural integrity. They represent family recipes from India, the Philippines, the interior of Mexico, and Poland.
