Montgomery County

With a rich, vibrant history in farming, timber and oil production, Montgomery County has become one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. At over 1,000 square miles and a population of over 700,000, the needs and interests of Montgomery County are as diverse as its past.
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension – Montgomery County staff and team of dedicated volunteers strive to make Texas better by providing innovative solutions at the intersection of agriculture, natural resources, youth and health.
Our Advisory Board has adopted the motto of “The place to go when you need to know” which reinforces the Extension vision of providing science-based information and solutions in agriculture and health to Texans when and where they need us.
